Condolence Meeting Held in Memory of Cyril Quadros at Manasa Pamboor
Pamboor: A condolence meeting was held at Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor, on January 7, 2026, to pay homage to Mr Cyril Quadros, founder trustee of Manasa, who passed away recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr John Martis, President of Manasa, remembered Mr Quadros as a kind-hearted soul who always responded positively to the needs of people who approached him. He said Mr Quadros had a special concern for Manasa and made invaluable contributions as its founder trustee. Highlighting his role as a building contractor, Mr Martis lauded Mr Quadros for his significant involvement in the construction of Manasa buildings. “God blessed him with a long life of 85 years for his exemplary life of service,” he added.

Dr Gerald Pinto, Secretary of Manasa, recalled the goodness and selfless contributions of Mr Cyril Quadros not only to Manasa but also to the entire Diocese of Udupi.
Dr Edward Lobo, founder trustee of Manasa, said that collaborating with Mr Quadros was always a matter of joy, owing to his benevolence and spirit of sacrifice. He also spoke about Mr Quadros’ qualities of hospitality and simplicity, which endeared him to everyone.

Mr Joseph Noronha, Treasurer and trustee of Manasa, shared his reminiscences and highlighted the life achievements of Mr Quadros and his lasting contribution to the institution.
In his condolence message, trustee Mr Henry Menezes described the demise of Mr Quadros as a great loss to Manasa and prayed for the eternal rest of his soul.

Sr Vinny Gonsalves, Principal, Mrs Muriel Premalatha, Vice Principal, along with teachers and students, were present at the condolence meeting.
