Teachers’ Day Celebrated at Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre
The Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) of Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor, organized a special program to mark Teachers’ Day on September 6, 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Joseph Noronha, Secretary of MRTC, emphasized that discipline for oneself and others is the key to success in any profession, and more so in teaching.
Dr. Edward Lobo, Founder Managing Trustee, and Mr. John Martis, Trustee, lauded the dedicated services of teachers at Manasa, highlighting their role in nurturing special children with care and commitment.
The program was compered by Mrs. Hema Rao. Mr. Rohith Kunder, Vice President of PTA, proposed the vote of thanks, while Mrs. Seema Shetty, President of PTA, was also present.
As part of the celebration, the PTA arranged fun games and entertainment exclusively for the teachers. Responding to the felicitation, Mrs. Hema, teacher, expressed gratitude to the PTA for celebrating Teachers’ Day in a meaningful manner each year. Sr. Vinny Gonsalves, Principal of Manasa, also appreciated the PTA’s efforts in making the event colorful and memorable.
